CONGRATULATIONS to Alabama's "YES I CAN!" Award winner for 2011... Rachel Duncan from Ashville. Rachel was nominated by her teacher Judy Metcalf. She received her award at the 2011 CEC conference in April. We are so proud of you, Rachel!
AFCEC at MEGA Conference
Mobile, Alabama
July 18-22, 2011
We are excited to once again be part of the Alabama State Department of Education's MEGA Conference in Mobile. Last summer we had an exceptional strand of sessions with top presenters. This summer we will feature two nationally recognized experts. Dr. Vivian Correa will present a one-day workshop focusing on young English Language Learners and Dr. Nicolette Brigham will conduct a half-day professional learning session on autism. In addition we will offer sessions on behavior management, technology, and developing creative and critical thinking skills. Please make plans to attend MEGA conference in July!
